So I have a sneak peek of a project that was just accepted for publication...but first there is a back story....about two weeks ago I had emailed Betsy from Innovative Stamp Creations about the bracelet blanks she carries on her store...I wanted to know how large the actual rectangular "blank" areas were...well she measured them and emailed me back and said "I will send you one so you can play with it and see what you think"....well I got them a few days later and this week I decided to play with them...so I made the bracelet but it was one link too long for my wrist...it is a nine inch bracelet so I removed one link...then made the bracelet...well that one little leftover blank was just so sad...It sat on my counter top begging to be made beautiful...so I made a necklace to match my bracelet...and then of course I had to make a set of earrings....and then I thought "hmm this is really pretty....I wonder if I could get it published"...and sure enough I got it accepted and it will run in the Sept/October issue of Crafts N Things. I am so excited!!! Now if you have never gotten this magazine, RUN don't walk to the nearest store that sells magazines and buy one...you will love it! There is stamping, sewing, sewing and stamping, painting...you name it...it is in there...and there are TONS of wonderful projects that COMBINE MORE THAN ONE CRAFT...just like this project I am going to share with you tonight! :) Enjoy this sneak peek..it will not be up here for long! :)
And here is the entire set together..see how I stamped the same image but in a horizontal layout for the necklace blank? Pretty neato huh?

Wow, congratulations on getting that published! That's incredible! And the set is great - you did a very nice job, and I bet the gal that gave you the sample is super happy to see it all happening, too. Great work!!!

WOW - mouth hanging open. This is gorgeous!!! I don't have a store that sells that magazine so I'll have to take your word on it. I'm sure your items will make all of the readers gush and run off to get the supplies to make their own. This is beautiful, Keri, and I love the colors and everything about it!!

Congratulations Keri for being published in the Crafts N Things. I do buy the magazine and love it! Your bracelet, necklace and earrings are all beautiful. I wish we were neighbors so that you could show me how to make a set like that. Oh and congratulations for being in the July issue of Scrap and Stamp. All of your cards are awesome and your tutorial was easy to follow. I swear that there is nothing that you can not do and do well.
