This morning I have had a few thoughts that I figured would be a good starting place to "revive my blog" with.
- I am starting my seventh year officially homeschooling.... holy cow, when did that happen???? I now have ALL FOUR of my kids enrolled and am almost ready to start. I have all books either picked out and on order or here already at the house. I have my OH SO CUTE gray and white chevron planner and I have FOUR DAYS next week blocked out at my neighbors Hilton Head Condo to go and plan ALL BY MYSELF...I have four days to sit in quiet contemplation, devotion and organize the school year without interruption - YAY!!
- I am finding I still like to papercraft. I wrote another book on the subject this Spring and though I haven't done much papercrafting in the recent years aside from the prefunctory birthday card, note card or gift bag, I am finding once again that I am enjoying the craft! Now this has it's drawbacks...One, I have to get some NEW STAMPS!!! Iwas appalled to find that most of my stamps are a good FOUR YEARS OLD...and we all know - in this industry that is both ANCIENT and in most cases OBSOLETE...so I aologize but most of my projects will be using outdated images...I don't have the budget to buy a bunch of new stamps right now.
- I have spent a few days reorganizing my studio to accomodate a few focus crafts that you will be seeing alot more of - top of the list are, Jewelry (no surprise there, right?), Sewing (this one more surprising, no?), papercrafting (old habits die hard!) and Polymer Clay (you know I love it!) I may just take photos and upload a few so that you can see what my studio now looks like. I need to update the album because last July we had a water loss up here and we had to tear EVERYTHING OUT - walls, carpet, subfloor etc and so now it's all AWESOME and redone! LOL
Okay so that about sums up the "info" section of this post. I thought I would share a sweet little card I made today, yeah I know, I know you are gasping, right?? It's been nearly TWO YEARS since I posted a papercrafted project on here. But in that time I have been busy doing other stuff that always seems to take priority over blogging and I have found that I post a lot faster to Instagram (PinkLemonadeKLS), and Facebook (PinkLemonadeKLS & PinkLemonadeUpdates)...but I pay an annual fee to blog here and since this has my "history" I think it's worth keeping it...and so I am thinking I ought to go ahead and start blogging here first and sharing onto FB and IG afterwards! LOL
