More Anna for you...I mean come on, who doesn't love all things Anna??

As I was cleaning up from making my crafty calendar project when I saw this pile of fun goodies all heaped together and decided it all looked wonderful together!

So I got busy making a card using up the bits and pieces I had laying around on my counter top! :) My workspace was my inspiration I guess you could say. I used the new JustRiteStampers set Seeds of Kindness...what a lovely set this is! Notice how well it fits just inside the Labels Nine #3 die from Spellbinders^TM? I was thrilled to see how nicely it works in there. The flowers are once again the Prima Cherry Blossom Branches in White. I love these airy little bits of beauty! The papers are from the Anna Griffin Flora line as is the purple ruffly trim. The other ribbon is just some offbrand sheer ribbon I had hanging around! :) Enjoy!

Two posts in ONE DAY???

Somebody call the doctor!!! LOL

Ok so I told you I wanted to get a card done right? Well I got MOST of it done, but had to finish it up once I had the kids in bed... :)

But tonight I thought I would share with you TWO VERSIONS...the first is "cute" but I felt it was not quite "finished" so I took a pic of it and then hunted around to find just what it needed...what do you think?

Ok version one uses papers from My Minds Eye Love Me Do line, some bling from Prima and Labels Three from Spellbinders. I like it...but it was kinda "blah" at the same time...

Sooo I got creative... well a little MORE creative... :) and I decided I needed to add just a few things...first off I added a few more circles, one with a bit o bling and one with a heart shaped brad. Then I added the corner brads...but it wasn't quite "done" so I pulled out my fun little Love Seals stamp set  from Impression Obsession. It was just the PERFECT finishing touch...what do you think? You're a deer... ;)

Our CPS Sketch for this week was so FUN but so out of the norm for me! You have to check it out! So I had this cute paper from Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses line and I just had this funny little pun run through my mind "Thanks, you're a deer"...silly I know but I just had to figure out a way to make it work...so I called my friend Karla at Charleston Scrapbooking to see if she had a deer image that she could cut on her Cricut Expression for me...and of course she did...so I whipped up a fun but silly card. I decided to keep the embellishments to a minimum by just using a bit of May Arts Ribbon and a Prima pearl... Enjoy!

Chalks, White Gel Pen & Black Ink Pen used to enhance deer image.

On the fourth day of Christmas...

We are a third of the way through with the Jacksonbelle's 12 Days of Christmas and today I have a little holiday gift bag to share with you! :)

It is simple enough to create and large enough to hold a good batch of Christmas goodies! :) This bag is simply a version of the 2-4-6-8 box. Here I took a full sheet of 12x12 The Merry Days Of Christmas "Santa's Forest" paper and scored at 2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" & 11". I then turned the sheet one quarter turn and scored across the bottom at 2". I then cut from the bottom of the sheet up the short score lines to the 2" score and folded the tabs in to create the bottom of the bag. I then adhered the tabs, and the side edge. Then I just took a scrap of "Peppermint Stripes" paper and cut it 3" wide and punched along one edge to create a scalloped border, folded it over the top of the bag and punched two holes to tie three colors of May Arts ribbons through to hold it closed. I used another scrap of "Peppermint Stripes" and Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangle Nestie^TM to create the mat for my main image layer. I added a few Making Memories Trees & a Poinsettia, a "to from" stamp from Renaissance By Design and boom, gifty bag complete! :) Enjoy!

 

You Sparkle

Well I seem to just be needing a few more days in my day...hahaha all the commotion lately here on our end has been a bit much for me to keep up with. Between the holidays and getting ready for DH to deploy once again I have to admit...I am not keeping up with ANYTHING very well it seems. Last week's challenge over at Jacksonbelle Embellishments was to use your favorite product from the store...now you know me...I don't pick favorites very easily! LOL So I just decided to use whatever I was in the mood for! So I used a base of Prism New Black Ridge cardstock...I love the striped texture on this one and the black is sooooo sooty black....then I used a bit of Aluminum Metallic too along with a Prima Frosted Branch, some bling, some Cosmo Rub Ons & a bit of May Arts Ribbon! All from the JBelle Store. :) And did you see my cute little ribbon tag that I used the Rub Ons on?? Yeah of course it's a die cut from Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio! It was just the right size for my little You Sparkle sentiment so I just HAD TO USE IT! :) I hope you enjoy!

Decembrrrrrrrrr first!

Wow so we woke up to cold weather this morning...here in SC it doesn't get "COLD" all that often but today it is!!! We even have a fire going in the fireplace to kinda help take the chill out of the air....

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend up visiting my inlaws! :) I didn't have much online time though and what time I did have was subject to a slooow connection...something was up with my laptop and it just didn't want to join the 21st century of highspeed internet last week! LOL

SOO I have last week's Unscripted Sketches #33 Project that will also serve for the Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge - to make a holiday card or tag! :) Today is also the first day of the Jacksonbelle's 12 Days of Christmas...check out the blog for all the details!

For my tag I used some of the CUTEST winter papers by My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas Collection. I loved how perfectly the fun little snowman fit inside the space of the Labels One dies from Spellbinders. It was like he was made for that spot! LOL Along with the papers from the Jacksonbelle Store you will see I have used some Making Memories Flowers & some May Arts Ribbon. The stamps are all from Impression Obsession's Winter Seals stamp set. Funny how I made this card two weeks ago and it is actually BRRRRR BABY COLD OUTSIDE today! LOL I hope you are having a wonderful and warm day wherever you are and that you take time to enjoy the REASON FOR THE SEASON - JESUS!!!

It's an Unscripted Saturday Sunday!

Well once again my Saturday went a bit haywire and I didn't get time to upload this week's Unscripted Sketches project! I decided to switch things up just a bit and I made a cute little gift bag. I just took the My Mind's Eye Merry Days Of Christmas Paper Kit and used the die cuts and paper to alter a plain old paper bag! :) I did use just a bit of Prism's Exclusive Rosso card stock and added a Petite Scalloped Circle layer between the other die cuts for a bit of added depth! How can you not be inspired...

by one of the ADORABLE dresses over at Hanna Anderson's site?? Today's Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge is to choose any one of those dresses and create a card using it as inspiration... well I saw that oh so cute "Bubble Hem Dress" and instantly thought of the Melissa Frances Gold Ribbon card and the fancy ribbon on it! The sheer ruffled ribbon beneath is just a simple ribbon that I ran a running stitch on and gathered to make the ruffle. So my card base was done...I just needed to do a main "image"... so I took out my Labels Five Nesties ^TM And cut two layers of cardstock that coordinated with the ribbon and guilded the edges using my Krylon God Leafing Pen. I then added just a bit o bling, some Prima flowers and some Making Memories glittery swirls and I was done! :) Enjoy!

Jenni, Jenni, Jenni.....oh uh who'd I call?

HAHAHA I can't remember what movie that line is from (He's Not That Into You, perhaps??)  but it totally cracks me up...you know the one where the guy is sings into the voicemail, then redials and thinks he has called someone else?? ANYWAY!!! Not that it really matters...

This week our product focus over at Jacksonbelle Embellishments has been on the adorable Jenni Bowlin Mini Papers and I will admit this is not my most FAVORITE card of all time (what can I say, sick kids all week....) I do love certain elements of it! :) The flower is one of the Prima Homespun Bittles that I just removed the bulky center and added a bit of bling to the middle of it! :) I feel like that totally changes the entire look of it, don't you? The stamps are from Hampton Art Stamps set called: Celebrate Ribbons...I used the one stamp to trim out the far right edge to give it a bit of interest, like it?  I hope you enjoy!!!

Time for a Tuesday Challenge!

Oh boy I am so late in posting the new Tuesday Challenge over at Jacksonbelle's Blog! This week's challenge is to make something to help celebrate the season! I chose to make a cute little gifty bag....this bag is about four inches across and just about that high...totally perfect for stuffing a gift certificate or gift card into! :) I decided to use some of my newest goodies from the JBelle store! (My Mind’s Eye designer paper, Making Memories flowers and swirl and May Arts ribbon) I love it!! ENJOY~
