I bet you all thought I was lying when I said I would load up a layout...I don't often share my pages...I am still such a chicken when it comes to that! But this one was for the JustRiteStampers Inspiration Challenge for today Scrappy Pages. I used my Brayton Font to make the title. I also added a bit of interest to this page by outlining a few of the images with a glue pen and glitter, fun right? Enjoy!
Well it seems like the week just decided to up and fly by with out me even realizing how fast it was going by!! I had wanted to participate in the JustRiteStampers Inspiration Challenge but kept getting distracted. Eventhough the challenge is still over I decided I should hop up into the studio and see about getting something whipped up! Well when I checked my email I saw that Photoweights.com was having a sale on their Crystal Round Petite Paperweights now through the 28th and thought it would be a great time to do up a photo weight! I decided to go with the Plant A Little Love set tonight and it fits PERFECTLY in the Petite Paperweight! I was delighted!!! I hope you enjoy it! Oh and as a PS , these make FABULOUS teacher's gifts, especially if you are on a budget...they are quick and under ten dollars to make! BONUS! LOL

Well we have spent the last three days with sick kids and then sick house guests...oh not fun!!
But I am happy to report that as of right now no one is feeling sick and I hope to keep it that way!
I am happy to be back guest blogging for JustRiteStampers this week! Thank goodness I was able to get these projects done and sent before the kids all got sick! LOL This first card is a simple monogram card. As I was cleaning up from making my crafty calendar project when I saw this pile of fun goodies all heaped together and decided it all looked wonderful together!
So I got busy making a card using up the bits and pieces I had laying around on my counter top! :) My workspace was my inspiration I guess you could say. I used the new JustRiteStampers set Seeds of Kindness...what a lovely set this is! Notice how well it fits just inside the Labels Nine #3 die from SpellbindersTM? I was thrilled to see how nicely it works in there. The flowers are once again the Prima Cherry Blossom Branches in White. I love these airy little bits of beauty! The papers are from the Anna Griffin Flora line as is the purple ruffly trim. The other ribbon is just some offbrand sheer ribbon I had hanging around! :) Enjoy!
Today I decided to participate in the JustRiteStampers Friday Challenge - Crafty Calendars. The challenge is to simply showcase a craft calendar! So I decided to alter this Paper Mache Heart that I am sure I have had for about five years!!! LOL
I decided to use some of my new fave gardeny papers by Anna Griffin's Flora line...I adore this line...I have a HUGELY SPECIAL set of stuff I just made that I can't wait to share with you...however I have to keep it "under wraps" for a bit...but stay tuned! :) In addition to the Anna Griffin papers, there are some Prima florals (again, can I just say how much I loooooove these florals??), some ribbon from Renaissance By Design, and pearls by CTMH (I think).
I used Sharon Harnist's perfectly cute little calendar template that is available for download HERE. She sized it to fit perfectly in Labels One but I loved it in Labels Nine! :) Thanks Sharon!
And of course I had to use some fabulous JustRiteStampers stamps! :) I thought I had the cute little calendar words set and alas I do not, so I got creative and used my fonts! Gotta love FONTS...I seem to never have enough fonts, alphabet stamps and alpha stickers!!! LOL Anyway I used two different fonts from Just Rite - Brayton was used for the "February" and I used the wing dings from Times New Roman Uppercase for the little finial images at the top and bottom of my calendar die cut. :) I hope you enjoy my little "Crafty Calendar" cause I sure had fun making it! Ok so here are the details for my project - cut and pasted from yesterday's project LOL The only difference is that I also used a small wood tray and painted it with Deco Art Acrylic Paint and distressed it using Ranger's Distress Ink. :) So anyway!!! Yesterday I went to the local scrap store Charleston Scrapbooking (over on Rivers Ave in N Charleston for all you locals) and I got inspired... :) I had seen lots of these materials online at Jacksonbelle Embellishments
and had placed an order for it all just this morning but just couldn't
wait for it to get here so I picked up a bit while I was out today. Tee
hee hee isn't that bad??? But anyway, the papers are from the new Pink Paislee line - Amber Road, the ribbon is May Arts, and the pearls and crystals are from Prima. I used the Trompe Upper Case font for the "JOY & PEACE", stamping it on Butter Cream Prismatics cardstock and then die cut using Labels Five Nestabilities
& Nested Pine Tree die templates from Spellbinders... Enjoy!!! Remember: There is mystery blog candy being given
