I don't know if you remember my Simple Couch Revitalization post or not but I am here to share yet another project where Poly-Fil has come to the rescue.
Meet Hobbes.
Hobbes - also lovingly known as "Hobbies" is a beloved tiger. Hobbes came to live with us shortly after my almost six year old daughter Lily Kate was born. He is her "special stuffy". Hobbes goes everywhere with LK. And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE. He has been high in the mountains of Austria, under the English channel via the Euro Tunnel (he went with us to Europe and is in 90% of the photos we took during the months we were there!). Hobbes is a special and very beloved stuffy.... only he isn't all that "stuffed" any longer, is he?
No, poor Hobbes only has "stuff & fluff" left in his hands, feet and head really....and Lily wanted me to "restuff Hobbies so he can sit up again!" And I, being the crafty momma I am said "Of course I can! Why? Because I have POLY-FIL!!!!"
So last week I took out my sharp snips and opened a small seam on Hobbes and told him I would make him right as rain in no time! Hobbes was very excited to think he might be filled with "stuff & fluff" again! Can't you tell - Hobbes LOOOOOOVES Poly-Fil!! And so I began to add a few pinches of Poly-Fil Fiber Fill....and then a few more pinches and a few more...
And here he is all restuffed and happy as can be! Lily Kate literally giggled with glee and exclaimed "Hobbies, you are all fluffy again!!!!!" That right there was payment enough for me to take the time to open him up and stuff him full again! I hope you have enjoyed this little revitalization project.
