Happy Summer!!! I am so glad we are finally into the HOT summer weather. I love it! And so with this fun weather I thought it would be fun to share a fun "Let the Summer Fun Begin" card!
First off I must point out - The flip flops are made from Oly-Fun by Fairfield. I cut the Oly-Fun on the Silhouette Portrait. It cuts BEAUTIFULLY!! I set my Silhouette cut settings to "Printable Cotton Canvas" at a blade depth of 5. The Silhouette cuts around the shape twice on this setting and I have found it works perfectly when using Oly-Fun.
Once the pieces were cut out I then assembled them using my new Precision Pro Hot Glue Gun by AdTech and just the tiniest bit of hot glue. I purposefully put them together with a bit of a "bump" to simulate a real flip flop.
After I had assembled the flip flops I then used Ad Tech's Dot Glue Runner to adhere the flip flops to the focal mat.
After the Oly-Fun flip flops were adhered all that was left was to assemble the rest of the card and add a few fun sparkly gems as embellishment. :) I hope you enjoy!
